Abstract

Housing and utilities sector, as one of the most important branches of the economy, has a significant impact on all spheres of society. The availability and quality of housing and utility services play a key role in determining the living standards of the population and are recognized as a strategic task for the development of public infrastructure. The development of methodological recommendations for tariff calculation for housing and utilities services plays a key role in the pricing policy of any municipal unitary enterprise in the housing and utilities sector. For such enterprises, it is essential to accurately calculate the cost of services so that they are both affordable to the population and cover the costs of maintenance and current repairs provided by municipal unitary enterprises. This article considers the existing approach to the calculation of the tariffs for maintenance and current repairs taken by a municipal unitary enterprise engaged in housing and utilities services. The methodical approach to the calculation of tariffs for maintenance and current repairs is presented, which gives arguments for calculating transparent and efficient tariffs for maintenance and current repairs of municipal unitary enterprises of housing and utilities services operating in Vladi-
vostok and the Far East region.
